After submission
The evaluation process
1
Evaluation begins

The commissioner’s panel scores every submission against their published criteria. This process takes time and happens entirely behind closed doors.

2
Clarification requests

Occasionally commissioners send clarification questions after submission. BidElevate monitors for these and will contact you immediately if one arrives.

3
Outcome notification

The commissioner will notify all suppliers of the outcome. Possible results are successful, unsuccessful, or reserve list. We’ll talk through the outcome with you whatever it is.

There is nothing you need to do during this period. BidElevate will be in touch the moment we hear anything.

What a tender interview involves
If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to present to a commissioner panel — in person or via video call. Here’s what to expect:
👥 Who should attend

Your Registered Manager and a Director or senior leader — the people who will actually be responsible for delivering the contract.

📋 What you’ll be asked to do

You’ll typically receive a topic or question in advance to present on. Use real examples from your service wherever possible.

🤝 How BidElevate supports you

We’ll brief you on what the commissioner is likely to ask, help you structure your presentation, and make sure you’re walking in feeling prepared.

If you’re shortlisted, get in touch with us straight away — hello@bidelevate.co.uk — and we’ll begin your interview preparation immediately.
